Northeast Texas Trail

I love this trail! I drive an hour from my home just to walk or bike this trail. It's cement/paved for the first two miles out of Farmersville. Then it changes to a nice pea gravel that's easy on your feet. It's not so easy to bike ride though after a heavy rain. The people I have encountered during each visit are always so friendly. Also, at Christmas time the town of Farmersville goes all out! You will feel like you have walked onto the set of a Hallmark movie.

This is a cool trail! It used to be a railroad line. I hiked the portion that runs through the town of New Boston. This part of the trail is paved and shaded and easily accessible from the back of the Pilot / Flying J truck stop

Easy access, well maintained. Not too crowded.

Amazing trail. Big thanks to the founders of this. Who loves nature must see. Take a bike and start going from town to town )))
