Salam Supermarket

I love the Salam Supermarket. I drive from the other side of Adelaide once every couple of weeks to stock up. The quality of their meat is amazing. I was a chef for many years and I’ve rarely come across a butcher with fresher meat. Their lamb is excellent and very sharply priced. Loin chops for $14! Good ones. Great beef cuts too, steaks, ribs... Excellent chicken and fresh offal. It’s one of the few places you can find quality goat meat for curry. The vegetable selection is modest, but well priced and you will find an astonishing array of spices, legumes, rices, sauces and other exotic wonders. The flat bread selection is exceptional. The staff are always friendly and up for a chat. It’s well worth a stop, you won’t be disappointed.

Clean and neat place with lots of choice. Meat section is also very good with quality products. My go to indian grocery and halal meat.shop. Parking is a bit of an issue at times.

Over the period of time we have experienced great customer service from all the staff which has improved continually. Keep it up bros!!!!!

Be careful buying chicken from this place. I have recently purchased kgs of chicken that is very disgusting to look at and had rotten smell as well. Very disappointing. This was supposed to be a chicken breast. Lord knows what they've sold me.
