This place is the Seat of the Coordinator of the Ga Mission field. Ga Mission field is a pastoral district of the Ga Presbytry of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Bethany congregation is the the oldest church in the Ga Mission field. The church turned 155 years of establishment in the year 2018. It is located at a suburb of Mayera called Osofoiaman which literally means the priesthood town.
