Casa Caribe is a true paradise. Absolutely beautiful house with stunning views and everything we needed for a relaxing and adventurous vacation. Chris, Liz and Oscar were always available when we needed them. Oscar was there daily to offer advice and assistance, and took us on incredible kayak trips (snorkeling just off the reef, and through a mangrove forest to a deserted beach). Liz was full of great information from what to buy at the grocery store to a full week itinerary of fabulous things to do and see during our stay. Truly it was a one of a kind experience, and I hope to be back very soon. Thank you all so much for an amazing and memorable experience!
Terrific place! It had everything we needed for any mood we were in. If it’s relaxation time, the wrap around decks with incredible coastal views were perfect. The caretaker, Oscar, was always available for activities, whether it was snorkeling, kayaking or answering my 1,000 questions about the property he maintained. He was patient, informative and I believe the reason our first visit was such a positive experience. Really, this place has it all. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces, beautiful, peaceful, and clean. Even the property dogs were a treat- so sweet. I wanted to take the puppy home with me. If you plan a visit to Roatán, I would stay at Casa Caribe.
This place is simply amazing, beautiful views, very comfortable amenities, and extremely helpful staff. Casa Caribe is the perfect size for a romantic getaway or a small celebration. With three bedrooms and a large common area, I think it can comfortably fit 10 or more people. Located on a tropical island with direct beach access, there are lots of activities if you're the type to want a full agenda. If you're more of the relaxing type, there are large decks surrounding each floor with lounge chairs perfect for sitting and enjoying the view. You just can't get the level of privacy and available space at a run of the mill resort. Hope to be back soon.
We stayed at Casa Caribe for a much-needed one-week dose of R&R. Everything about the stay was delightful. The house was amazing, well appointed and great amenities from cool AC in the bedrooms for sleeping at night, to drinkable filtered water pumped right into the house. This house stands apart from what you would expect given some of the other features of Roatan. The pool and view was amazing and Oscar makes a great Monkey LaLa drink. Mmmm!
Highly recommend. I can't imagine better service in this type of island setting. Would definitely go back!
The house was nice, the view was beautiful. Things were good until the end. The host was constantly harassing us to leave a review, to the point where it started to ruin our stay. We chose to leave a tip of $20 to the full time caretaker, as we felt he didn't do anything outside of his usual duties. We cleaned up after ourselves, the pool was green with algea, we received no other service. We left no tip for the property manager as we didn't think she did anything to deserve one either. 3 weeks after we stayed here the host then tried to charge us an additional $500 for TIPS. These guys are ridiculous. They actually expect people to pay 25% tips on top of the price you pay for a week! ($500 tip for a $2000 week rental) When we refused, the host then came up with wild accusations of us eating his food and staining towels.
These people should not rent out their vacation home. They are clearly high drama, high maintenance Hollywood types with no grasp of the real world.
