Balcony lock was broken and a dude came into the room at some point, he wasn't hotel staff.
This was never a palace. Property is very dated but my simple spartan room was clean. No advertised guest safe, elevator not working, sketchy neighborhood, but close to Central San Pedro. Room door no security chain, old simple lock. Cheap for an overnight in the city. Not near the airport, just west of the center of the city. Be very careful if walking in the area at night, which is true of much of the city.
