Perfect spot near one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We have been visiting and diving in Roatan for over 10 years now and this is my new favorite spot to stay in West Bay. This B&B is set back in a quiet location but just a short walk to the beach (about 3 minutes) where all the action is. Great snorkeling from the beach (just ask Jean-Noel where to go), dive shops, restaurants and bars. After a day at the beach you can come back and enjoy a swim in the pool or a drink on the large outdoor patio. Love the made to order breakfast each morning. It’s delicious, convenient and a great variety to chose from. I think the breakfast burrito daily special was my favorite. A trip to Roatan and the Seaside Inn is top on our list once travel is opened back up.
Beautiful resort with excellent breakfast!
Four of us stayed two weeks at the Tortuga apartment and were very happy with the accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean, spacious, and contained all the amenities for an enjoyable stay (the freezer has an ice maker, huge bonus!). The living area has plenty of room for 4 or more people. Also, we had access to the top floor “sky bar”, which has great views and cool breezes. All exterior areas at the resort were very clean and well maintained.
An excellent breakfast served six days a week is included in the rental price. The staff were friendly and promptly tended to our requests. The resort is just 3 minutes walk from the beach and close to multiple restaurants; guests can use lounge chairs at Beachers Bar and Grill for free. Overall a great experience.
This is the most beautiful, comfortable place in the most beautiful, serene setting. It's quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, just a VERY short walk to the beach which makes it perfectly situated. There's a dive shop a stones throw down the road. The owner is a delight and she's extremely attentive. This place is truly a gem.
We considered staying at nearby Fosters, but finally chose Seaside Inn as the place to be in Roatan for our first trip to the island. The owner, Carolyn, and staff were great people and were happy to take care of our needs and provide information and help to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were nice and well maintained. Breakfast was provided 6 days of the week and were excellent allowing us to make the choices that we wanted. Using the big, covered, outdoor terrace to eat breakfast or just to sit was a big plus. We also enjoyed going all the way to the top of the building where there was a deck structure where we could see the sea and the surrounding area. On a rainy day, we walked to nearby Gumbalimba nature park wanting to see a scarlet macaw in the wild up close, and finally saw one right at the entrance way by the lake (without going in the park and paying the $30 entrance fee). Seaside is very close to numerous restaurants on the beach (a 5 minute walk) including Beachers, where they provided us with free lounge chairs and umbrellas. Water taxis to West End are also very convenient if one wants to go there as well. All in all, our stay at Seaside was wonderful, and there is no better place to stay on the island.

Review of Seaside Inn
Reviewed 1 week ago
This is our 3rd stay at Seaside Inn. The first two we stayed in the bungalow. We loved it. But staying for 10 days instead of a week, we decided to budget and stayed in the Macaw. It was fine. We still had a king size bed, fridge, microwave and everything we needed. We also had the run of the massive veranda, complete with gas grill, tables, chairs, ottoman and hammocks. The furniture is comfortable, the ceiling fans provide that breeze and the view of the sparkling crystal pool makes it a great place to relax after a great day of diving (check reviews of West Bay Divers!). There are ample clean linens/towels provided, and a washer/dryer available on site as well. There is enough space here that I can't imagine it would ever feel crowded. But, you are close enough to walk the 3-4 minutes to the beach or the nightlife easily enough. Now, to the hostess of this great place. Carolyn, well she will do everything in her power to make sure that your stay is awesome. She has a ready stock of sunscreen and bug repellent for those who have forgotten theirs own. She can/will arrange for taxis or island tours. Carolyn knows her way around the island and knows a lot of people. She is meticulous about housekeeping and keeping things just right. You want privacy, you've got it. You want a little conversation or have questions about something, well you've got that too! I would be hard pressed to find another place on the island that could ever keep me as happy and comfortable as we are at the Seaside Inn. I really can't find a negative anywhere that Seaside Inn and Carolyn are concerned!
