Roatan Excursions, West Bay Tours

We rented the 52' Catamaran and added transportation to and from the port. Everything went smoothly for pick up and drop off and the driver even took us for some shopping when we asked. The Catamaran docked at Wikkid Resort was great, the crew even better. Drinks and snacks as promised - even better than expected. They took us to 2 snorkeling spots away from big tour groups. Overall a phenomenal experience!!!

Everything was super easy from booking the tour to when we arrived. Our calls and emails were answered quickly and we ended up having an amazing time on the island tour. Highly recommend.

When my group booked the trip we were expecting everything that was detailed on your website. However, that was not the case as our Mangroves tour was no more than 20 minutes. 1- Our first stop being the Iguana Farm; we never stopped to see Iguanas on our way to Oak Ridge 2- Once we arrived to Oak Ridge we didn’t see any ‘densely populated fishing’ as the only thing our boat driver pointed out was the Oak Ridge municipal building. 3- In the mangroves, there was no mention about local birds or animals. Or much interaction for that matter. 4- Hole in the Wall bar- this is something I was personally looking forward to. If you are going to allow your customers to choose a tour time, you should also advise them that depending on the time they choose the bar may be closed. Which was what occurred during my tour. Needless to say the “mangroves tour” was all but 20 minutes and that was highly upsetting. I didn’t pay you/ your company $65 to drive us around and leave the planning to us. We spent an hour to reach Oak Ridge to not receive what what was detailed on your website.

We booked the Monkey tour in Roatan. Unfortunately due to high winds we were unable to port. This is the REASON we booked the cruise and only prepaid excursion so we were quite sad. However, WestBay Tours made the process incredibly easy. I do not regret for even a second booking outside of the cruiseline.. .This company is very reputable and has great customer service. From correcting my mistake on booking date due to the dd/mm/yy format to assisting with arranging safe transportation and even assisting with a refund they went above and beyond with (they didn't have to refund me... I wasn't expecting it... But it sealed the deal for me. I will never use anybody else when booking excursions through Honduras.) I highly recommend and hope to see the pictures you got that we had to miss this trip. Until next time - because we WILL be back!

Incredibly overpriced. The amount I was quoted for all the things I inquired about, ended up only being for an island tour I didn’t even want to do. $55 per person for just an island tour?! That’s insane. I recommend you find a local company who is honest. This company lacks integrity. If they did what was right, they would refund our deposit.
