This is the BEST restaurant on the island, and all of Honduras. Honestly their food alone is a reason to visit but the ambiance, the chef, the staff and everything it offers is beyond expectations. We went on New Years Eve and had to come back the next day, every dish offers a unique experience, everything from the soup to the main meal (all three included when you order a main dish). The flavors are something I’ve never had before and will be craving from today on. It carries a farm-to-table concept, and it shows on the freshness of the food. The spot is perfect for a date, a quiet intimate dinner with friends or a place to unwind after a long day. The cleanest and coziest place in town, including the restroom! I will be coming back every time I’m in Utila and recommend you check it out. Although the prices are a bit higher that the rest of the island, it’s a 100% worth it and you cannot miss it. Make a reservation beforehand, it books quickly and it sits a few tables only, which makes the experience even better during this “new normal” times.

We had such a good time! The food was soo delicious (just like we know it from really good Austrian cuisine ;-) ), staff is super nice , the place is so beautiful and calm and romantic - even the toilets are super cute! we would totally recommend to come here at least once during your stay on the island, because it's more than worth it!!!

The most romantic, beautiful, and relaxing place to dine in Utila. There is nothing like the experience you will have at El Castillo Garden. The beautiful outdoor atmosphere is amazing. I ordered “chicken grape” juice to drink and it was so refreshing. For lunch I ordered the smoked bacon gnocchi. It came with a small guacamole appetizer, a delicious salad, and my meal had so much flavor I have been cravings ever since. I highly highly recommend that you do not miss visiting El Castillo Garden during your visit to Utila. They also sell amazing local products.
