Paradise Beach Hotel

I love the outside grounds like the pool & bar area. There's a relaxed laid back island feel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The food is just okay, nothing spectacular. The basic rooms are too small and dated. The shower area in the room is extremely small, to the point the shower curtain touch you while showering. Upgrade to the suites or Villa for better quality and more space.There's no microwave in the room, just a small fridge. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, i checked out and checked in another hotel because i needed more space and amenities.

very nice people were exceptional the rooms are incredible for where we are. bathroom... critical words of the bathrooms I read are without regard of the precious resource water is here. i was grateful for the taxi service from and to the airport I'll be back

Stayed here for 4 days with my family the end of October 2020. Made reservations directly with the hotel. We have stayed here many times. This time they put us in a hotel away from the beach and pool, misleadingly named Oceanic because you are away from the Ocean. They did this without any communication. The rooms that we have stayed in many times before around the pool have always been very nice. The Oceanic rooms are very simple hotel rooms. The main problem is everyone is away from the pool and beach. No big deal for adults but with kids it is a nightmare. They don't understand this at all. I asked if they could put us near the pool. They say all of the pool rooms are closed to protect us from COVID. This makes no sense, where they have everyone is much more packed in. This has to be an excuse to make repairs during slow times or these better rooms cost more to maintain. Regardless they run a beach resort and have every single guest as far as possible from the beach solely for the resorts convenience. To top it off there are several young male managers at the front that are terrible. They hide in a back room away from guests and only come out if you yell to get their attention. Then they only come out reluctantly and act like you are wasting their time. Then they are no help at all. Our fire alarm battery was dying and beeping. They couldn't get it fixed in two hours and we had to move rooms over not being able to change a battery. Then none of the 3 rooms we had had consistent hot water. The pool, beach, restaurant staff and recreation areas are great. After many years coming here we will unfortunately stay elsewhere in the future. I strongly caution all families to avoid this Resort until they have fully reopened.
