UNIMED is a fantastic and professional option for healthcare here on Roatan. After a stressful week of not feeling well I called them and they came to me to do an evaluation! The Doctor was wonderful. She made some referrals for tests and lab work and scheduled a follow up to check the results. After discussing the results, she wrote prescriptions for everything I would need from the pharmacy, she gave me referrals for follow up care with other local physicians and would like to schedule a follow up appointment to discuss progress and assure continued care. I felt well taken care of and the price for all of this was very affordable, not much more than your average CoPay! Thank You UNIMED!!

I had somehow scratched my skin near my eye. After a couple of days it was very inflamed and swollen. I needed medical attention. I'm from the U.S. a friend called UNIMED clinic and they had me come right in. It was Christmas eve. They took good care of me, diagnosed an infection the needed 2 medicines. Also translated the language for me. Power was out so they had the medicine delivered to the clinic. I picked them up a couple hours later. Dr. Jose was fantastic as well as the rest of the team. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Went back for a follow-up visit to make sure the medicine was working. It did. Thanks again to UNIMED.

My spouse had a bad fall with a head injury and we immediately went to the Unimed Clinic in West End, Roatan. They spoke English and came to our aid right away. The medical evaluation was very thorough and professional. Dr Moya performed all wound cleaning and stitched him up. The nurse, Vicky, was very gentle and skilled as well as a pleasant communicator. We were transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital for X-Rays and then brought back for a total of 6 hours of evaluation to ensure his head injury would not develop into something more serious. The ambulance staff stayed with us during the X-Rays and acted as interpreters for us and well as keeping my husband comfortable and constantly monitored. During the ongoing evaluation time back at the clinic, Dr Coleman continued to evaluate him thoroughly and interacted with him constantly. The care my husband received was very thorough, professional, and skilled. The clinic was very clean. The staff took excellent care of us on followup visits as well.
