Beautiful view, ample space. They have a specific amount of electricity per day so if you use more you have to pay extra and it's kind of a complicated process to buy it.

5 of us stayed for two weeks in the East Villa! What a great location. We snorkeled nearly every day! The reef is 50-100 feet from the bottom of the steps. We did rent a golf cart for our stay as it was a little too far for us to comfortably walk back and forth. Only negative was the bugs on the one or two still days we had. Take a good bug repellant. Other than that there was a nice breeze which kept the bugs away. Food in town was great, people very friendly. Recommend visiting the Jade Seahorse while you're there. Other reviews of Utila are correct, there isn't much to do other than dive and snorkel, but if you're looking for a great place to relax and rest in between snorkeling and diving, this is the place. People in town are very friendly. Also recommend you get new crisp bills to exchange for the local currency "lemps". They won't take anything the least bit worn, torn or ragged. Get your money changed as soon as you get there as it's much easier dealing in lemps.
