The treatment that I received here as an american was inhospitable.i feel embarrassed as an American that other people who come to this location view the american people this way

Im am an American I am not Honduran ! And had bad experience going the USA embassy.i was not allowed access inside. I’m applying for visa for a family member they declined they wouldn’t tell you why the visa got decline wast of money and time that’s what they want . People who work there are very rude , horrible customer service. I wish I could give zero

As a Peace Corps Volunteer, I was in the embassy twice--once for swearing in and again for a social visit with an embassy staff member I happened to meet. In addition to the office tower there is a lovely patio inside the walls with a garden and pool. A coffee stand is also there to get you a beverage as you enjoy the scene. There is a nice view over the hillside on the rest of the city.

my wife and I live on Roatan island., we have been married since 2007. My mother lives in Ohio USA, we made an appointment at Tegucigalpa for a visa to go see my 85 year old mother. She said she would like to meet her daughter in-law before it is too late. the charge for the appointment was around 168 dollars I do not remember the exact cost. air fair for both of us was around 600 round trip. hotels there run around $90 per day. This trip cost us around $1000 dollars. We showed up at the embassy before our appointment time. I was not allowed to go in with my wife. and i had our cell phone with us. they would not allow them in and would not put them on the shelf for us. there was no one to store them for us. My wife came out about 10 minutes with a yellow paper stating that she was a risk of not returning to her country of origin. She was turned down for a fully litigate reason to visit My mother In Ohio. We own a house here and have no intention of moving. Bottom line is, this system is about useless, causes people hardship, gives people the runaround wasting time and money. there should be a pre screening that could be filed e-mail style. and they said you can refile!!!! yah right !!!! reminds me of internet scams? gives my family the feeling of hopelessness.
