Monumento a la paz Cerro Juana Lainez has just completely major upgrades to its installations funded by the Japanese Govt. it now features a Japanese style botanical garden near the flag monument and a walking/running trail complete with a bicycle lane for its visitors which is located further downhill from the monument. Pets are allowed on the trail but not around or near the flag monument which is located further up the hill. Highly recommend for a visit for an afternoon/early morning walk/jog. Very secure, no need to worry about getting mugged. Take your own water. to drink. Biosecurity measures are strongly in place (masks, hand gel). The trail also features an area for kids to play on, and there's also a kids playground near the botanical garden. Entrance fee is Lps. 25. Open Wednesday to Sunday from. 8am to 5 pm.

Beatiful park and view of the city. It is a shame it look no maintemance is donde at all.

This park is near Tegucigalpa city, and it has recently been remodeled, entrance is free, is a good place to go with family or friends.
