Far removed from other tourist destinations, this sleepy little village is a nice day trip from Gracias. The church is largely unrenovated and locked up when not in use. If you ask nicely you might find someone to open it up for you (it's nice to tip). It's one of the oldest in Honduras, if not the oldest (circa 1671).

Beautiful church the first time I went I was quite careless but a beautiful ⛪ Colonial Church for all the people who love sightseeing is highly recommended, as they are very beautiful places with wonderful people. The visit to the mountain 🗻 Celaque is very wonderful and its climate is very pleasant.
