Gorgeous little lagoon nested in the foothills of Danlí. It's the perfect spot to go camping: isolated, quiet, beautiful. Laguna de San Julián is a must visit for the naturalist is with a tight schedule. It's fairly accessible (a 50 minute drive on a decent dirt road from Danlí) and easy to get to. However, you need to bring everything with you as there's no tourist office there or even a pulpería nearby. Highly recommended for solo travelers as well as small groups.

Gorgeous Lagoon, half and hour drive from Danlí, a few kilometers from El Tablón, a small town famous for fabricating delicious rosquillas. Nice place to visit with family and friends.
