My girlfriend and four other couples had a reservation valentine dinner. The food was mediocre at best. Two of the meals were sent back, very over cooked. The service, however, was horrible. Brought out the wine, but no cork screw. We had to go to the bar to do it ourselves. At no time did the staff ask myself or anyone else if we'd like a drink. Inexperienced servers. The entrees were brought to the tables without having cleared the appetizers, desserts brought out while table was full of dinner plates. This is not a cheap restaurant. When paying top dollar, adequate service should be expected. I was not impressed. I would definitely pass by this place. Much better options elsewhere.

This Restaurent is very expensive.....service is abysmal. My husband had to go to the bar 3 times to get drinks.....bartender was busy talking to a customer/friend. My husband ordered fish which was over cooked so he sent it back! I had pork tenderloin which was very overlooked n I couldn't eat it! My husband eventually after a long long wait got another plate of fish.....again over cooked! When we got back to our boat, he started vomitting violently n had diahorrea. This continued until this morning, but he's still bedridden. Your comments please!. I highly recommend that you stay away from this place. I've had no vomiting but suffering diahorrea....which has not subsided. Mrs.SL.Smiyh

Absolutely gorgeous place, right on the beach. Stunning views, beautiful decor, amazing staff, and serene outdoor patios and reflection pools make Xbalanque seem almost other worldly. Excellent Food and service make this little spot on one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean sheer perfection.
