In great shape! Glad they kept it in shape during covid shutdown. I love this golf course.
“Ultimate Beach Resort” is not even operational. Abandoned units with stagnant water in the pools. Broken windows. No staff.
Basically the cruise lines are taking you to a large pool for the day and hiring 2 people to serve you.
Avoid!!
We were only here an hour, to enjoy a drink and a swim. The campus is beautiful. They have a shallow lagoon on the beach for swimming or laying along the sand. They have a fantastic pool with plenty of patio with bar. The bar staff were friendly, the drinks were good. I'd love to go back some day for a week. Its pretty fancy, fairly expensive.
The place is beautiful. Nice white sand beach and the service of food and drinks are excellent. The swimming pool and change facilities are fantastic. Make sure you bring along anti-sect repellents and apply lots of them. The sand fleas are plentiful and can cause lasting itchiness to your body. It happened to me when I was there in Deceber 2019, and it is still haunting me in May 2020. Dermatologist prescribed three medications for me since February. It's now 90% recovered.
Beautiful location, the club house was nice but lacked any golfing atmosphere. The fairways and greens were in great shape and they had some good challenging holes. Unfortunately they were sanding the back nine greens and had to play the front twice. The sand traps need a lot of work and the driving range was way out of repair. This place as great potential, and with some more work put into it, this would be a top course!!
