Food here is great! It's very popular among the locals, especially on weekends, so either reserve a table or don't be surprised to find out there's none readily available. Location is within walking distance from old town Tvrdja, just as you come off the road bridge accross Drava river.
Prices are very reasonable and serving sizes will fill you up nicely. Interior is smallish but nice. The large backyard terrace is the more popular choice, although it could use a bit updating. Service is good, but in peak hours they sometimes get overwhelmed.
In terms of food, it's mainly local cusine, with river fish stews / broths / baked / fried etc. but there's also a solid meat based dishes offered. Just keep in mind that food is often very spicy, so if you're sensitive, make sure to mention it upfront cause what locals consider "mild" may not mean the same thing to you...
Really good local cuisine, in a very friendly ambient. Staff is super friendly but professional.
