Esplanade Zagreb Hotel

One of the most prestigious hotel in Zagreb. The interior looks stunning and so are the rooms. The diner at the restaurant and the breakfast were both very good. However, the mini-bar mentions "Champagne" but you'll only find Croatian sparkling wine. So far no problem, charging the price of a Champagne bottle is however unappreciate. Besides of that detail my girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay and definitely recommend the address

If anybody out there is searching for deals for hotels go over to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ reserved a hotel room on there and these guys had the best rates just about anywhere! Wonderful hotel in city center with 100-year history. Luxury rooms. Wonderful service. Free chocolates and excellent coffee. Large business center. Friendly staff always happy to help. Valet parking. Close to everything in Zagreb.

Stayed there twice during covid. Nice hotel with charm and decent service. But is it really 5 stars? Rooms need renovation and every little bit that is usually free is charged for (substantially - especially for croatian standard). Gym costs, parking costs (€20 per day?!)... the list goes on. At normal room rates i would not stay there again at my own expense. On the plus side both the bistro and zinfandel serve great food with good service. Might seem overpriced but compared to other places in Zagreb it’s worth it if you want to be lazy but especially in summer the zinfandel terrace is great with lots of privacy.

An incredible hotel that allows you to touch to the history. And of course a chic restaurant! It’s amazing!))) very good breakfast!
