This was the biggest concentration camp in Croatia during WW2. There is very little remaining from that time. You can see some artefacts in the museum while you read the stories (in Croatian and English) of prisoners' life and death. Try to prepare yourself beforehand because the visit can be emotionally difficult. Don't forget to see the famous Flower monument (repaired in 2003.) Entrance to the museum and the whole memorial zone is free.

I was impressed by the monument and the whole experience. I have one suggestion. Working hours of the musem should be until late afternoon during weekends.

Very moving place. Nothing left of the camp. A very large typically Yugoslav monument dominates the site. A period correct train and cattle cars sits on the tracks that lead to the camp. Even though the temps were in the mid 90's during our visit I had goose bumps on the walk to the memorial. The museum does not contain much. If you are in the area definately stop by. The extreme cruelty that happened here should not be forgotten.

I really don't know how to rate a concentration camp memorial site. It was a quiet, beautiful day and I was all alone there.
