The villa is amazing on first sight. It's very modern with nice art and an amazing view. The pool looks amazing as well as the interior. But it's not a home for people who like to cook/live in this house a lot. Some things weren't fully thought through, like we couldn't move the table and it was too close to the kitchen. We couldn't watch TV (the card was missing even though it was in the description) nor listen to the radio (It had a nice sound bar for phones). It had way to less plates, dishes and no extraction hood, no microwave (wasn't in the description but would have been helpful). It's really nice to live this near to the port and still have a nice view/pool. It's clear that they try to keep the house in the state it is, which is really nice, no damages. The pool was too cold, we couldn't use it. I'd give 5 Stars for the looks and 4 for equipment but the view really made up the one point less. Thank you for letting us stay here!

We've stayed at Villa Mara on Vis for several times, and it is hardly possible to imagine a nicer place for your vacation. The island itself is hidden gem with it's bays and beaches and caves, and the house is one of the best you can get there. It is cosy, comfortable and spacious, has a nice view and refreshing swimming pool. It even has an outside grill/dining area and some bikes you can use. Can't wait to go there again.

We had a super relaxing holiday with our friends in this house. The view from the terrace and from the pool is dream like, showing beautiful scenery of the old city. House has everything one would need, garden rich with all the mediterranean herbs and grill area which is also very convenient and useful.

Amazing start for our holidays. We stayed at the upper apartment of Villa Mara Vis, and enjoyed every moment from arrival to departure. Beautifully Modern decorated Apartment , with a lot of Croatian art on the walls and around the pool. Perfect location , within walking distance to Vis town and Kut, and all restaurants, bars, cafes and grocery shops, but at the same time enough far away from any city noise to be very peaceful. The stunning view from the Terasse is breathtaking And perfect for a sundowner, dinner or just a book to relax We loved it and hope to come back again one day
