We really had very good food here. The menu is not extensive, which is a good thing: they focus on a correctly cooking local dishes using local ingredients just as they should be. Don't come here if you want a pizza or burger, do come here if you want fresh fish, octopus, squid, wine, olive oil, etc. We had very good cuttlefish risotto and octopus goulash. The best dish, however, was the grilled squid - I can honestly say that, cooked over embers, this was the best squid I've ever tasted. Charred and flavoursome but not overcooked. My only complaint is that for the price (120kn) and for a full stomach, the portion should be 3 squid rather than 2, which just isn't enough. Nevertheless, I fully recommend this restaurant. Charming and engaging waiters.

We were here for the first time, this is only thing that We regret because We had a wonderful dinner. The staff is very friendly and kind and they will help you with everything. Wine that was sugested by staff was great ( Vugava - radman) . And the food, food was story for it self, i had never tasted better swordfish in my life. IF YOU ARE IN VIS, YOU MUST VISIT THIS RESTOURANT!!!

Frank and the guys here are total pros and a good laugh too! They served us up grilled Gurnard and Scorpion fish served with some grilled vegetables and chips that were more like roast potato rounds like thick crisps all drizzled with local olive oil and that is all it needed. Stunning... washed down with some delicious local white wine produced just over the hill.

This is the place to be if you stop by Vis. There is no other way to describe the place if not AUTHENTIC. This is most definitely the projection of Ivan’s personality - the owner - whom honesty and knowledge accompanied our meal. A MUST the cuttlefish risotto which is one of the best I have ever had in my entire life. I am northern italian so I had many.. The fresh fish is a bliss. You can choose the cut you wish and Ivan goes strAight to the point. He knows what he sells and what you want. Grilled vegetables are amazing. Wines are local. Wonderful bottles.. perfect for whoever wants to try Croatian blends. We tried several but our our favourite surely Rose Plavac Mali (a rosè) and Posip ‘19 (white wine). You must try both. To end your meal - despite me not being a dessert fan - the chocolate cake. GORGEOUS. The place is magic, a beautiful vibe and the inside court will make you feel like you are somewhere else..paradise like. Most importantly: Ask Ivan to meet Thelma and Louise.. and you will be amazed :)
