Pension Haus Kovac

House Kovac is the epitome of hospitality in Tucepi, in Dalmatia. The family-run business meets all the requirements of a family holiday on the Mediterranean. Clean, neat and in recent years nicely renovated rooms facing the sea or the Biokov Mountains invite the guest. And the nice and unusual thing about holidays in Croatia is the extensive breakfast in the morning in Haus Kovac. Unique with coffee, tea or milk, different types of bread, jam, sausage and cheese, e.g. tomatoes, scrambled or cooked eggs, various juices and yogurt complete the offer. In the evening the restaurant with its own menu is only available to house guests. After breakfast, every guest has the opportunity to choose their evening meal in the morning. From salad plates to various Croatian meat and fish specialties, there is something for every taste. The dishes are prepared every day with fresh ingredients from the region or the sea. Why are we convinced of the Pension Kovac? Because we - have been vacationing there for 25 years - always return home very satisfied and - look forward to our next vacation in Tucepi. It is worth - a visit - a vacation in house Kovac.

A very nice apartment, newly renovated with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can also have breakfast there. I can recommend it.

Hello everyone, I and my family recently visited the Kovac's in Tucepi. I would like to use this route to tell you what was there like. I will limit myself to the Kovac house, since you can find enough about Tucepi on the Internet. So, here we go. Up at home there is a pretty steep ramp. When I was upstairs, I almost had to put my wife in the oxygen tent because, in addition to being steep, it is also narrow. But all in all doable and and, once you get to the top, there is enough space to park. Since we were announced, Miso (the junior boss) :-) ambushed us right away and gave us a very warm welcome .... We stayed on the third floor, and the rooms were all clean and air-conditioned (without one you would probably die in summer). The bed was one of the few "strange" beds in which I slept really well the first night. Otherwise I always need a little :-) We had booked the room with breakfast and didn't regret it. Breakfast was always plentiful and Vera (the senior manager) really went out of her way in the kitchen for each of our wishes. We often ate there in the evenings, and if Vera really did her best for breakfast, then she just worked wonders here (I can't explain it any other way :-)) But now I come to the summary, otherwise it will be too long. If you want a wellness holiday in a hotel with a wellness area, you should go somewhere else. If you are looking for accommodation at a very, very fair price with very good food and really lovely guests who go out of their way for their guests, this is the place for you .... That's why the 5 stars are really given from the bottom of my heart and if you could give even more, then I would do that. And for information: I am neither a relative nor have I known the Kovac family before. :-)
