Boutique & Beach Hotel Villa Wolff

Excellent v small hotel. Attentive staff. Great breakfast. Outside restaurant picturesque.

What a lovely discovery! Villa Wolff is ideal if you are looking to escape the crowded and impersonal resorts that now dominate the Dubrovnik area. It is situated near the edge of the bay, making it considerably quieter than the other hotels while still convenient to the beach and restaurants. The hotel also faces its own shady and peaceful walled garden. Perfect for couples, small families, and solo travelers seeking a quiet retreat. The staff were enthusiastic, accommodating, and knowledgable. Architecture aficionados take note: Serbian architect Nikola Dobrović (1897-1967) designed the modernist additions (the upper floors and the striking Olympos and Parnassos terraces overlooking the garden) to the traditional seaside villa in 1940. The hotel remains in the hands of the Wolff family to this day. The only drawback is that the villa is not easily accessible by main roads and requires either passing through Hotel Kompas (on the cliffs above) or walking maybe 500m down the waterfront and then up several flights of stairs.

Excellent staff, rooms are cosy. Great views from our suite. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice relaxing break. Loads of good restaurants, in easy walking distance

Went to this hotels restaurant on the waterside (Casa) which had beautiful views over the bay. Seafood is the specialty, and with plenty of fresh fish you can see why. Delicious food, had 3 courses and each dish did not dissapoint. Sea bream on the bone for the main which was cooked perfectly and had the house cat sat on the nearby wall looking on hopefully. Staff were friendly and joking about, but also helpful when asked. Would happily eat here again.
