This is always quite a site! I visited some of the salt factories and mines in the region...this one looks like you're on another planet. :) Be sure to ask some of the locals to get you through the place and around, it kind a gives you a special perspective...because, the stories about this place are in their history but also everyday lives.

Too bad we eat Tunisian salt and ours goes elsewhere.

Our saltine, our salt, I love it just like many others ... saltine fish, culik bird. Our daughter said 17 years ago ... "I know what it says, it says pepper and salt." Good association of a girl of less than three years, right?
