Really great spot, as a solo traveller it was my first hostel and I was a little nervous but it was so easy to socialise here because of the events and the space provided. Comfortable and clean too, just be ready for excersize because of all the steps up!

This hostel charged me a $600 cancellation fee for a bunk bed in a 12 bed room. This is equal to what the cost of the stay would have been even though I cancelled 4 days in advance. When I reached out to explain the situation and dispute the enormous fee, they refused to help me. I have never heard of such a ridiculous cancellation fee.

I had a great time at the hostel even though I came during off season. The volunteers were all very friendly. One of the current ones (Elisa from Brazil) was great at organising the hostel events and was really helpful with my stay. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to spending time in the middle of Dubrovnik’s old town.

I loved staying here! Yes, the rooms are smaller than I expected them to be. But the washrooms are clean, the kitchen is delightful and the meet-ups held there are great! The one limitation is that even though it’s situated in old town and is at a great location, the steps leading up to it are hard to climb with luggage. And there’s no other way! So only opt for this if you’re physically capable of climbing all the way up lugging your suitcase.
