Villa Allure of Dubrovnik

Loved it. Very cool old style. Nice location close to beach and just outside of old city but not in the middle of all the craziness. Excelsior across the street is ugly and too many stories tall and blocks most of the views which is very unfortunate. If you stand in the right spot you can see the sea and city (as shown in picture below). Would’ve given 5 stars if not for this minor disappointment. Staff were great. Very helpful and friendly and made sure we got to the airport on time. We left before breakfast so they put some coffee out for us and even packed us some sandwiches to take on the road! We were blown away by that hospitable gesture. Pool is nice and so are the lounge chairs.

Excellent, you won't be disappointed. Lovely rooms with good terraces to use. Left alone to do what you want. Simple but nice breakfast without the hotel rush and people getting in the way. Short walk to the amazing city walls. Just do it!

Clean Hotel, friendly staff, but a bit too few. Reception area is not staffed most of the day. Not much of a view from the lower level rooms and the public areas due to the Excelsior Hotel that obstructs it. Very small pool but nice to have to cool off and beach is walking distance. I had a smaller room opening to a walled courtyard shared with next door, separated by screens, The amenities are modern and nice. The old city is walking distance, 10 Minutes. Nice breakfast buffet with additional a la Carte choices. Entrance / exit is direct onto a small street, and there is some street noise.

It's a very nice place, especially the location. Breakfast offer could be better and there is not a good view over the city, also traffic right outside the walls. Service is outstanding, they will go a long way to make sure you have a nice stay.
