Employees of the Department conduct over 30 regular and elective courses, and continuously work on the development of teaching and learning of physiology, immunology, neurophysiology and pathophysiology. Transparency and openness to students, continuous transfer of knowledge and monitoring of student achievements are fundamental values ​​that have been permanently built at the Institute since its establishment. A large portfolio of research activities and constant development of research has resulted in a large number of scientific projects that have been and are being implemented at the Department, with over 300 published papers in international journals, extensive international cooperation, and over 90 defended master's and doctoral theses.
