The Sunsail base is excellent, large variety of yachts available, good facilities for showering and laundry, the Sunsail reps I dealt with, Martina and Mirna were extremely good and a lot of knowledge of the areas to sail in and around. Boat faults are promptly dealt with by the experienced engineers and mechanics, they can get to if you experience an issue away from base. My main issue with sailing in Croatian waters is that each marina / harbour is expensive to moor at, even mooring bouys can be pricey. The Blue Caves are run by a cartel forcing you to enter the caves via a paid tour which is extortionate considering I use to use an outboard and go in freely. Any way to extort cash from yachtsmen seems to be taken. So Croatia will not be my preferred place to sail sadly. Places to dine around the marina are ok, and Tommy's supermarket is convenient for stocking up before setting sail.

Bar staff are crack heads at 0100 in morning - unpleasant. . Does not apply to Sunsail who are brilliant. 5 stars
