Difficult time for everything and everyone these days, but not for us last week! :) Taking the new Elan 40.1 Impression FUNKY with friends and family across the Adriatic filled us with joy and peace. Just back from a 2 week trip with the Cat Blue Eyes. We have chartered with Sunlife four times by now. The boats are always in top condition, the check in and check out are super efficient. Very reliable team. Perfect sailing area. Strongly recommended!

Sunlife were always very quick to respond. The booking was fast and easy. The staff were almost all very friendly and helpful. The boat was clean and in good condition, but we have to take into account, that it was a new yacht from 2020. Whenever we asked for something which was missing on the boat when we checked it, it was brought immediately. Sunlife are more expensive than all the other charter companies we have rented from. Final cleaning: €180 Early check in at 2pm: €100 (with other companies early check in is normally at 1pm) Outboard engine: €90 Cockpit cushions: €50 We found this to be very pricey especially with the cushions we were given. Thin plastic cushions that were not very comfy and dirty We lost a screw for the bimini which we had to pay for - €30 Some things were not okay when we got the yacht. The indication for the waste tank always showed 36%. We were informed about this before leaving. What we were NOT told about, was that the waste tank had not been emptied by the last crew and during check in wrong instructions for the lever settings were given. This almost led to an overflowing of the waste tank and the smell in the first 2 days was really horrible. Luckily we had a similar problem during our last charter and my husband was able to rectify this without external help. The dinghies from Sunlife are extremely heavy and can hardly be moved by 2 grown-ups without the risk of damaging something. The dinghy was not in good condition, losing air. There was no bucket and scrubber on board. This should have been checked by Sunlife before handing over the boat. For a cleaning price of €180 I would expect the beds to at least be made up. Flat sheets (not fitted ones) and quilts were provided and the pillows had been made up.
