Rent a boat Vinisce

First: we booked a small boat via click&boat online and payed online. Arrangements before was quite easy. Really nice boat, super easy to drive (without driving license) and enough space for 6 people actually. We were by five on there and had enough space for all our stuffs, especially nice to sit in the front on the sundeck by two or three as well, super easy! Also enough fuel to get around to the blue lagoon, some other Islands and an amazing sand beach. Given map is easy to understand and navigate with. They have an emergency number in any case and you’ll have connection all over the island area with your phone. Tips: - don’t expact a speed boat, but it’s fast enough (15-20 min. to blue lagoon) - ask extra for the portable fridge, useful to store cold drinks - their english might be not the best but it’s possible to communicate in somehow :) - didn’t get a proper training in the harbour but actually super easy to drive (they might make the training if you feel insecure) - a quick training how to anchor properly would have been nice - a quick training how to tie the boat to a jetty would have been nice - one the way back we missed the “entrance” to the harbor. Just the be sure, bring a phone with offline maps and GPS All in all: worth it, definitely! Way more than a guided tourist tour that would be even more expensive. Highly recommended!

Rent a boat Vinisce were excellent, Ivan met us outside Konoba Kupinca, Unfortunately I do not have power boat licence so couldn't rent one of his very smart looking brand new "fast" boats, Ivan had explained via email that we could take a power boat with a day skipper for an extra E70, we decided that we would take one of his smaller boats and we were not dissapointed. The boat was brand new, it had full remote driving position with a plucky Honda outboard, the boats equipment was also excellent, the boat came with informative chart, insurance documents, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, buoyancy aids for up to 6, a full tank of fuel included in the price. Ivan gave us an excellent explanation of the controls provided us with an emergency contact number and off we went..... First stop the blue lagoon, 2nd visit to this lovely place, took about 40 minutes to get to from Vinisce, a word of warning it gets busy so set off early and if you tie onto any of the big black buoys you will be expected to eat at the Fish Konoba, we thought the menu very limited and expensive so we decided to head to the other side of Veliki Drvenik and into Drvenik Veli where we tied up for free in front of Konoba Jere and enjoyed lunch from their terrace that gave great views and some shelter from the sun. Heading back to Vinisce again decided to go back via the blue lagoon but we had spotted a small cove withe the most amazing turquoise water, it has a small house in the bay with green shutters, no where to tie up but dropped anchor at the weedline and it held allowing another beautiful swim and snorkelling session, returned back to Vinisce for 4pm secured the boat, and headed for home, tips...take hats, sun cream and plenty of water...Great boat great service ....Great Day !
