They really do not like foreigners in this store. Staff very rude. You’d think for a tourist destination they’d make an effort to be polite and helpful. But no, it’s the total opposite. Do not shop here they will either rip you off or be rude to you. Try another store.

Advice to tourists: mentally add up your purchases, challenge the price at the till if not in line with your mental arithmetic, always ask for a receipt (we weren’t give one until we asked), then check the receipt- we were over-charged 80 Krona / 300% the price of our cheese, at which the man on the till shrugged and said “stupid bar code” before refunding us - no apology. Have heard similar reviews....

The young lad on till will scam you.. he puts expensive item through till last and then hits x 2 as he totals up the cost. I asked for till receipt he said in bag, but it was not. then he could not print as he was doing the next customer. Day 2 he did it again. this time I got the till receipt told him what he had done. He gave me 50.00 kn refund and said it was a mistake. Then I demanded 50.00kn for the scam the day before and he gave me that money too. Be aware.

You would never choose willingly to go to this shop over an another but if you're in Dubrovnik without a car then you have virtually no choice. The prices are essentially robbery. What do you make of the people of a city so willing to exploit it's visitors in this way? £2.50+ for a bag of cheap crisps One extra star earned by a smiley friendly checkout man.

As so many other people said in reviews below - avoid at all costs or check your bill! Items were added which we didn’t buy and the cashier at the till first lied about having put the receipt in our shopping bag. We went back to ask for the receipt and thank god we did! He gave us the money back straight away. Total rip off and criminal behavior.
