Hotel Astarea

Hotel Astarea was very good. Rooms were nice. The maid was great. Drinks were a bit pricey compared to local bars. Pool staff were great (Pool seemed to be too cold all the time for a lot of the holiday maker's ). The hotel it's self was really good. Food seemed to be very good. Things did not seem to be repeated week to week as it is when you stop in some hotels . Nice ENGLISH BACON. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Would go again.

Enjoying our stay, rooms, food and staff all lovely. A 'patina' in some of the paths and walkways, but nothing to worry about. Lovely region, will probably be back!

The overall holiday experience was good. Nice clean room. Fabulous sea view. We were put in the annex and was a bit of a trek back and forth to the hotel, grounds and outside pool. Negatives which seemed to have been ongoing. No water in the ladies’ toilets poolside. Unable to wash hands. A few of the locks were broken. The same problem with locks in the ladies’ toilets in the reception area. I thought it not very user friendly for disabled people overall. The outside pool area would really benefit from a bar/cafe/shop where drinks/snacks/ice creams etc could be purchased.

Beautiful setting and quite luxurious. We were in the annex section as opposed to main building but it was very comfortable. Small room but all you needed (other than kettle and coffee) the breakfast was all you could ask for. Hotel has a number of restaurants 2 pools and another in the gym section (heated) Approx 10 to 15 km from old town but shuttle services on offer. 50 kunas each return. Price of hotel for 5 days was more reasonable than 2 days in Split. Very satisfied
