Restaurant Lavanda

In my opinion the best restaurant in Krk. We'd grown so tired of the generic restaurants in the old town, offering the same meat and fish platters etc. They were all so average and similar, that we had began to give up hope. Restaurant Lavanda is located outside of the touristic old town but your experience there doesn't suffer because of that. Quite on the contrary, it's got a really chilled out vibe and we loved sitting outside underneath the vines. The menu is also very different from other restaurants in Krk - we really enjoyed the Go nuts salad with cheese and orange. Really delicate flavours that perfectly complemented each other. And we also really like the deep fried rice and ham balls served with chilli sauce. We went there twice with our two young kids (a 3 year old girl and a nine month old boy) and it was such a chilled out experience. The two waitresses looking after us (two sisters from Ireland) were so nice. Very attentive, without being intrusive, and really interesting and fun to talk to. We finished off our meals both times with a little dessert on the house (available at the time if writing for all guests) and some tea. My wife had a really nice roibush tea and I had a super mint tea, with leaves straight out of their garden! It was also really nice if the chef to come out and say hello to all the guests. Finally, it was really good value for money. You won't find better food for as cheap as this anywhere in Krk. Thanks for creating such special memories for us guys. We really enjoyed ourselves.

It’s truly a gem! Wonderful and tasty food, nice and friendly staff. Amazing experience. Make sure to try their home-made wine and shrimp pizza, we were excited👌🏻 hvala lijepa❤️

Great place, dog friendly. Starter as a gift, we paid only for main dishes. Awesome staff work there! Tschüss! Pozdrawiamy!!

great local food, awesome staff, great atmosphere ;) we loved it. .. and great drinks too
