First of all, Antonio the waiter was fantastic. The food was excellent, the lamb in particular with potatoes. The bill overall was very cheap compared to the centre of split. Update: Liked it so much the first time we decided to try it again 3 days later. We asked for the exact same lamb dish and on the plates what was supposed to be lamb was 70% lamb fat and bones, scraps basically... Antonio wasn't there, instead we had a French man who tried to tell me that was the same dish we had before, hilarious... We left and had McDonald's instead, miles better.

We went there at 8pm on Sunday in August. Were the only clients, the food wasn't warm, probably prepared in the morning or something like that. Lemonade very good. Watch out for the bread, even if you don't order it, they will bring it and add to your bill.

We ended up here as after a failed attempt to dine at the Macedonian restaurant nearby. Luckily! There we found the kindest and most attentive waiter we met in Croatia - and local cuisine of course. A meat plate for two, a salad and drinks set us back for 260kn (ca. 35€). We even liked the view over Split's modernist high-rise buildings, a good change from the city's old center. Recommended!
