Very good restaurant for breakfast wouldn't recommend it for lunch or supper though. Small portions and average prices for the area. Quality and taste of the food is good. Location is nice, right in the main square of split and very close to the old town Edited after response from the restaurant: In my opinion and in comparison with other restaurants in the area the portions are smaller, we were 4 people and needed to order 2 dishes per person when in nearby restaurants only one is enough. Covid-19 measures: It is true that all the waiters who attended us wore face masks, however all of them wore it INCORRECTLY, either on the chin, not covering mouth and nose or with the nose out. However the local and terrace looked sparkly clean.

Bajamonti had one of the best spot on Republic square. You can view the seafront, it's protected from the sun and the wind, and it offers expensive breakfast. We just wanted to test the food, and ordered an espresso and a healthy breakfast which is nothing more than oats, almond milk, and bits of raspberries. It's decent, but the best is not in the plate, it's around you.

Very touristy. Place itself was nice but the food was bland/subpar for the price. Ordered fried dish that was supposed to have calamari. They did not include the calamari and when I asked they said they were out. To make it up, they provided free desert. However, the cheesecake desert was not really cheesecake, more like cheesecake flavored yogurt. I’d look for something else

Delicious brunch and breakfast options (specifically the fruit and yogurt) at a reasonable price in a very nice classic setting! Service was friendly and helpful, although it was pretty quiet when i went in November. Coffee was decent too - they even threw together a makeshift flat white for me. :/
