Epulon Food & Wine

We managed to get a table by just walking in but I think it’s best to make a reservation as a lot of people got turned away. To start with we got the Salmon tartar and risotto. Both of these were delicious. For the entree I got lamb and my boyfriend got duck. Both of these were super tasty. Only small complaint was that the lamb and duck were overcooked but the flavor of both were great so we ate everything. Definitely would recommend

One of my best restaurants experience in Croatia. Everything fresh and tasty. We had black risotto (squid) and local pasta with forest mushrooms... The bread (baguette) was incredible fresh. Service very nice with attention but not "attacking" you. Prices on a normal croatian level. You pay the same or more in a bad tourist trap. So you should go to Epulon.

the Tuna steak looked most appetizing however tasted quite stale. There could have been more truffle in the truffle pasta. But the black risotto was amazing.

Restaurant is beautiful but the service was very disappointing and there were some issues with the food as well. We had to wait a long time to order and after 10 min the waiter came back and asked us to repeat everything because she forgot what we ordered. We asked for the fish delicacies as a starter, the mixed salad with prawns, pineapple and mango and the tuna burguer. The fish delicacies were tasty but the portion was quite small. The salad came with a hair. The tuna burguer had everything except tuna... It was clearly meat but we waited so long for the food and were very hungry so we didn't send it back. Would not repeat.

First of all, just avoid this place, the best thing that you can get is tap water ! Service is really bad, the waiter just tried to scam us by bargaining about a fish plate (The plate of 1kg was 350kn but he came back and said that the minimum was 2kg and tried to reduced to 1.5kg) we ordered also a white wine but there were no menu for wine, but sold us a wine for 160kn that was supposed to be the cheapest, and "reduced" to 150kn like a fish merchant. Then, when we wanted to cancel the wine because we didn't take the fish plate, he said it was not possible whereas just 5 minutes after, he just open it in front of us. Unacceptable! And the burger was a joke, the black angus burger was that bad, I could do better, only one slice of tomato and a steak that seems to be bought in Lidl. Really BAD ! Just run away from this place, it doesn't deserve all their good reviews !
