Submarine Burger Tkalčićeva

Just very high quality food, and very tasty at that, great atmosphere, very nice staff, i would definitely go again, and its rather affordable aswell!

We were biking for hours, got really hungry and wanted to take a quick bite at Submarine Tkalca. The waiter was super nice, funny, eloquent and allowed us to put our bikes in a safe place while we were eating delicious sliders and truffle fries. The toilet had ione door knob, great for safety in these corona virus times. Love that place didn't lose its quality since their first restaurant opened in Frankopanska many years ago. The reason why we keep going back there is not only good taste but the fact I don't have a feeling I am eating something unhealthy. It's definitely one of the healthiest burger options you could find in Zagreb. They claim to source locally from small farms and to me it's believable story considering the taste and the feeling of lightness several hours after the meal.

Best burger place I have been to and the cheese fries were the best I have tried as well. They even have the best Croatian beer which few plaves have (Odlezano, the orange version of Karlovacko)

One of the best places for burgers in Zagreb. They have tasty vegetarian options and the staff is always friendly.
