great wines, nice place but they think they are the Paris. almost 3€ for a coffee, it's a joke.

We were visiting Dubrovnik for a week and decided to taken a coastal drive one day up to the Peljesac area for a unique wine experience. I’ll be honest. At first we thought it might be a gimmick. We were VERY wrong. These guys are geniuses. Their family has been in the grape arena for over 100 years, but 8 years ago they tried something different and innovated. They said “let’s age wine under the sea and see what happens.” This place is a splendid blend of family tradition, sea and wine. We truly enjoyed every minute. The experience, the stories and the family history. We didn’t dive with them, but we did do the above sea wine tasting and we were greeted with a smile and kindness. Crowds are low right now because of COVID so we were the only ones there. We highly recommend the tasting with the same batch red wine via cellar, glass bottle and amphora under the sea. We left with a case of 2 types of wine to share with friends and family. The only reason we didn’t give them 5 stars is below and totally fixable. 1. We weren’t told that the tasting we did had a charge prior. 2. If you buy 500+€ worth of wine, that should be waived. 3. There should be special pricing for 6 bottles or case of wine, not per bottle pricing. We didn’t grumble about it. We know times are tough right now with low tourist season due to COVID, but these tweaks should be made in future when things pick up again.

This winery is very unique they age 2 of their premium red wines under water. The bottles of these wines are very interesting/unique looking. The wine tour is very short there isn’t much to see outside the main tasting room. They have a variety of tastings from 12 euro to 50 euro per person. The only way to taste the premium wines aged under water are with the top 2 tastings I think 45 or 50 euro. We tried the top 3 wines and they were just okay in comparison to the neighboring wineries that we visited but it is a very unique process that none of the other wineries do.

Very good idea, however very pricey in comparison with other wine places just few minutes away. I do suggest just to skip the whole thing.
