Pizzeria Castro

Mind blown. That's my first thought when we got our pizza's and burata mozzarella salad. If you're thinking of having pizza in old town Dubrovnik, Castro is the place. Service is amazing and chef come out to greet us, I think his name is Mirel. Really have all the best words for all the staff working there...

Very tasty pizza. I've had creamy bacon with onions. It was perfect. The bread was very unique, soft inside and crispy outside on corners. Filling was perfect combination of bacon and onions. It was more of farm style, where ingredients were cut fat and uneven. Stuff we're super nice and professional. Always paying attention on the table. Available every minute I've was thinking I needed something. Therefore service and food for medium ($$) price range is perfect.

The best pizza in town, also available as a gluten-free option. Friendly service, moderate prices, dishes always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

I liked that you offered from the house 4 shots of rakia when we complained that we did not liked the pizza, a little bit salty all of them, much more expensive that we expected, but looking closer on our receipt we saw that we "enjoyed" a bottle of wine we do not remember of. I do hope the wine was better than the pizza for whoever drank it. In attention to the boss, you waiter is getting tipsy on your alcohol.

€10 for a pizza is a steal!! Delicious pizza (take away also) while enjoying GOT “Walk of Shame” views! Don’t forget to ask for the spiced olive oil seasoning 🌶
