Franciscan Monastery Badija

Works only two hours a day, if I'm correct. The entrance fee is 20 kuna and for that you can visit the church, the atrium and read about this place. It's sad there aren't monks there right now. It will take you 10-15 minutes to see the whole place. It's worth your time.

Great place to start exploring Badija. Ferry / taxi will most likely drop you off on the pier right next to monastery. From there you can either lay down on an improvised beach, walk a few dozen meters to a Café&Bar to enjoy espresso and a quick bite, or walk along pathways around the island. Either way you choose, it's a very good stop to consider.

Pretty dead end of season. Come equipped with food and drink etc. Nice clear water to swim in and great gentle walks
