Holiday House Sole Mio

Because of the location, we decided on Villa Sole Mio. The decision was a direct hit. Since we are traveling with two dogs and a cat, we were looking for a secluded villa with a pool and a fence. The Villa Sole Mio exceeded our expectations in all requirements. The landlords Irma and Milan are incredibly nice, helpful and hospitable. Both speak German and try very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. About the location: The house is far away from the next busy road that connects Bale with Rovinj. You have to walk a 1km long dirt road to the house. The only inhabited neighboring house is approx. 500m away and is a winery (tip: definitely try wine and buy it locally!). The villa itself is on a junction with a dead end street, so you can expect minimal to no traffic, not even on the feeder road. It is therefore completely quiet at night. The house is surrounded by fields, olive groves and ancient paths that are great fun to explore or go for a walk with the right footwear. The beaches Cisterna Beach, Plaza Palud and Plaza Pisulj as well as the restaurants Agrotourism Arka and Agrotourism Mofardin are in the immediate distance (about 15 minutes by car), both of which are highly recommended. The next larger supermarket in Rovinj is also about 15 minutes, to Bale less than 10 minutes. The Istra restaurant and the Toni pizzeria are recommended here. In about 15 minutes you can reach the Vestar campsite, where water sports (diving, sailing, motorboat and jet ski rental) are possible. About the house: The house is surrounded by a traditional Istrian wall and offers the possibility to park vehicles safely in the courtyard. There are 2 large sliding gates and 2 small doors to enter the property. The doors are lockable. The lawn is mostly watered automatically and at night, some herbs grow around the house, and the landlords have laid out a vegetable garden behind the house. The terrace offers plenty of space and sun loungers as well as a sheltered seating area with an outdoor kitchen and grill. Here you can spend wonderful evenings and eat together. There is even an outside box for the music that is controlled from inside the living room. The pool has a salt system and therefore requires little chlorine, which is a great advantage for people with sensitive skin. The house has two floors, ground floor and first floor. On the ground floor there is the living room, the open kitchen, a toilet, the laundry room, where cleaning supplies, clothes horse, washing machine and towels / bed linen / are stored and a bedroom with its own large bathroom. On the second floor there are 3 further bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, two of them with terraces with chairs and tables. The bathrooms in the bedrooms are very spacious and have modern, open showers. The entire interior is stylish and well thought out. There is enough storage space and space, even if the house is fully occupied by 8 people. The house has WiFi and satellite reception, German and international TV channels can be received without any problems, a large flat screen and the music system to which e.g. the mobile phone can be connected round off the multimedia equipment. Kitchen / laundry room: Everything is there, what you want. Sufficient cutlery, sharp chef's knives, pots, pans, grill cutlery, plates of all shapes, bowls, serviettes and serving plates. Dish soap, dishwasher tablets, oils, salt and pepper were in stock. As well as grill lighter and wood for the grill, tea towels, a vacuum cleaner, broom, just everything you might need for a longer stay. We were in the house in September 2020 and can recommend it without reservation.
