The wine was terrible. The food we ordered (bolognese) was straight out of a can, and the pasta wasn't homemade as it was advertised. Really disappointing.

Great food. Nice people. Even the owners dog was nice to us (: Will definitely come back again.

First of all we had a beautiful meal and a lovely waitress. Our car broke down and the owner came and called his friend a mechanic to help get it started. It was pure genurosity and we were so grateful. They would not accept anything in return. thank you and we will now always have this as a memory of your kindness. We will come back to visit for dinner!!

Great beefsteak and grilled veg and excellent Teran wine. Owner who also serviced me was very unprofessional leaving me with a desire never to come back. First they made a mistake issuing me a bill for cash payment (I had specifically asked to pay with Visa as I had a large bill). In Croatia apparently you get a different kind of bill depending on your payment method. I had suggested to put the tip on the Visa card (the restaurant accepts cards). She got frustrated with my suggestion telling me in a condescending tone that that is not possible and that surely that is not possible in Bosnia either. I haven’t lived in Bosnia in 27 years and have no clue how payments go there. I am a Canadian citizen used to good North American service and flexible payment methods traveling Croatia. I don’t see how my birthplace is relevant in this situation. I don’t know how she concluded I was originally from Bosnia- either by accent or perhaps she overheard my conversation with neighbouring table - a lovely family from Samobor. I had planned to leave a big tip and great review of the food (shortage of staff is a problem in Croatia so I was sympathetic to that), however references to my personal info that I had not shared with her directly I found utterly tasteless. I don’t appreciate service with condescending attitude and I surely won’t be coming back.

Great food in a great setting. Highly recommend the gnocchi with Istrian goulash
