Dalamar apartments

Mixed feelings about this place. This is specifically for the wooden cabin next to the main house. The owner is very helpful and nice. But it's very misleading that in the pictures it shows a wooden cabin and when we got there we found out, it is in fact a small container (yes, the ones you see on trucks and also used as temporary makeshift offices) with no wood on the front but the plain white metal container. The bed is just incredibly uncomfortable and small with sheets that are barely enough to cover the bed, leave alone two people. The deck is nice and big but there is no view of the sea (this is also hidden in the pictures by the angle). I understand that they want to make it look good/better but it would have been nice to show the front of the place as it currently is. One incredible nice thing is, they have nearly every single channel (HBO and every other primetime channel) but unfortunately on a terrible TV that's angled upwards from the bed's viewing angle making the poor display harder to see with the screen tilting upwards with a black tint. Terribly uncomfortable pillows as well. A few things could make it nicer and some honestly in advertising would make the fair price seem better/acceptable.

We stayed here for almost a week and can definitely recommend this apartment. For the price it offers actually a lot. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. To vent the apartment is actually pretty important because it only has an ac system. The wifi is also really good. Kitchen has all you need. The location is pretty great. Babino Polje is the biggest village on the island and offers everything you need for your holidays: two big supermarkets; a Café/bar; doctors; nearby hiking routes; the odysseys caves;... and if you have a rented car (you definitely need one!!! I am serious) you get to every place on the island in 30 minutes. But you need good driving skills everywhere on the island. Babino Polje is no exception. The apartment is on one end of the village so you don't need to stress yourself with the tiny and only road of the village. The parents of the owner are your neighbors and really kind. They try to be as helpful as possible.

Very nice and big apartment. Very nice owner. Unfortunately, there is hardly anything in the village apart from a bar and it becomes difficult to be able to buy something without taking the car every time
