Baśka, currently inhabited by 1,500 inhabitants, is one of the most popular holiday resorts on the island of Krk. Rock mushrooms and the island of Prvić surrounding the town from the sea protect the entire resort from cold winds. Along the shore of the bay you can see hotels and houses for rent. Baśka has one of the longest beaches in the Kvarner Bay - it's Vela Plaza, almost 2 km long. The coastal promenade attracts holidaymakers with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. The historic part of Baśka is quite poor: St. Trinity and Kastel Baśka proudly towering over the entire neighborhood. The pier is extremely interesting. On the one hand, crystal clear water reflecting the facades of the surrounding buildings and swaying fishing boats. However, after climbing the wall you can see the rocky coast and the great Prvić sparkling with the colors of the setting sun.
