Bara Bay

Very disappointed, so expensive for the poor quality of hotel. TO AVOID ! My first impressions of the hotel were very positive as it looks modern from the outside. But after staying Here for 2 nights, i was happy to leave. Several reasons: BAD FACILITIES - no parking: the hotel front has space to put 2 cars max and they are taken anyways. HORRIBLE ROOM: - dirty: when I arrived my room was dirty, the carpet in the shower was left from the previous stay. + room is not cleaned during the stay, they just change the towels. - noisy: When the lady showed us the room she turnt on the bathroom light and then a horrific noise came out of it (like the noise of a tractor motor) and linked to the light. Conclusion, either you go to the bathroom and shower with no light or you have to stand the crazy unpleasant noise. I asked the owner, he said he’ll call someone but in the end the issue was not fixed and we had to live with it... you know business for him was more important than customer service. - Air conditioning poor: minimum had locked to 22 degrees... if only it was really 22 degrees I wouldn’t complain, but there were some issue that made the lobby even colder than the room. - No soaps or shampoo: you’ll have the pleasure to wash with a bad hand soap looking like crushed jelly which had been refilled over 30 times. - Dangerous! In the morning we just tried to open the curtains and the whole curtain + bar holding the curtains fell off... when you look on the ceiling, the bar was glued poorly and attached to a crumbly wall. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: We raised all those issues above and in the end nothing really happened to solve them, as they just don’t care. If they were trying to fix it (or pretend) I wouldn’t have been so angry and nothing was offered to compensate this inconvenience. SO EXPENSIVE!!!! Price of this stay 120+ euros per night. Worst value for money, felt robbed. Only positive: breakfast was good and location is no bad at all.

Poor The hotel is nice from the outside, however this is where it ends: - the ventilator in the bathroom made an extremely loud noise like a jackhammer which was a problem as it was directly linked with the light and therefore could not be turned off separately when using the bathroom. We told the owner about this who in turned did not show any care and advise someone will come look at it... no one during our stay of 3 days came to came to look at it. - the air conditioning could not be turned down past 22degrees with low fan. This is far from strong enough for the area (35degrees) and as a result the room was always hot. Again we told the owner and he advised just to make sure to close the balcony door (no help). - the curtain rod fell off the ceiling when closing the curtain with all the dust from the ceiling falling all over the bed. - there is no shampoo or soap in the rooms, just hand wash. We asked the staff about this and they said to use the hand-wash - the tv has absolutely no working channels. - there is no hairdryer or kettle - no room service cleaning at all. - when we arrived the room had been so poorly cleaned (towels just thrown on the bed, bed made up so roughly and the shower mat had been used by the previous guest and was lying wet on the floor) - Customer service is non existant, one member of staff just laughs at you and says it’s the owners problem when you have any issue If this place was for 50 euros I would not make these complaints, however for 120 euros it is absolutely ridiculous for a hotel as the service is less than a hostel. Only positive point is that the breakfast is of good quality.

Nice place, clean and new rooms. Beach is very close.

Good food, and friendly atmosphere.

Very poor food and very bad behavior of the owners of this hotel are the two main reasons why I would never visit this hotel again.
