Hotel Pagus

This hotel could be so much more. They have a brilliant spa with lovely staff and an indoor pool. The rooms could do with an update and tea coffee facilities. We had to ask for a kettle. It was let down by the food. At first when the hotel was busy there was lots of choices and it was hot. As the hotel became quite as people left there was less choice and the food was cold which I often told them. The staff were always polite and helpful .

Waiter were like pros !! All good to them... close to the beach. But doesnt deserve 4*

The place itself would be OK. But the workers in the bar and restaurant ruin the whole thing, they are rude, actually act like you should be thankful to leave your money by them. Sometimes there is food from last dinner at breakfast, but for them it is ok. The only positive I can write is that the receptionists and wellness workers are friendly. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

I would give zero stars for customer service if I could. Booked a stay several months in advance, was told it was fully refundable if my plans changed. Tried to cancel 3 days later, and was charged the full amount for the stay. Staff stopped replying to my emails when I asked for a refund. No choice but to dispute it with my credit card.

Does not deserve to be rated as 4 stars Hotel. Some of the staff could be more friendly. Rooms could be more cleaner - daily cleaning service is not up to par with 4 star hotel. We had to ask once for clean towels on reception, while our dirty ones were taken and not exchanged with clean ones. On positive side - food is excellent! Beach is near hotel property. City downtown is only 5 walking minutes away.
