I forgot to wear the covid face mask, then the overzealous girl at the counter would not let me buy the shopping if I didnt buy a face mask, while it would already be pointless anyway and the thing was way too tight

Small supermarket right on the campsite. Here you can get the most necessary things. There is also a small department with camping equipment. In times of Corona, when the bakery that is actually on the CP is closed, you can get rolls, bread, etc. here from 7:30 in the morning. Masks are required and there is disinfectant at the entrance. You can pay in cash or by card. There is also an ATM at the entrance.

Supermarket is well stocked. Service partly unfriendly. The return of empties is extremely cumbersome, here only glass bottles can be returned with presentation of the receipt, for the plastic bottles bought here you have to drive into the city and these at e.g. Return Lidl / Jadranka. Croatia still has a lot to learn when it comes to recycling.
