great historical place to visit and stay.

This is one of my favourite spots in Croatia, much nicer than Hvar and a few miles away, beautiful towns, great food and very much alive

Stunning island - well worth a visit for the natural beauty and history - take a boat trip! However be warned - in almost every restaurant/bar we went to over 9 days we experienced laughably bad/rude/not-bothered service. A small concern in the context of how beautiful the island is, but it became annoying over time. Taxi drivers were generally fantastic and friendly.
