I am extremely pleased with Big blue Windsurfing team. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Me and my friend went through 3day beginners class and everything was perfect. We had some great jokes and fun during the course. I definitely recommend this place!

Just finished 3-day windsurfing school for beginners. Guys were really friendly, professional, they managed to get us on boards and going with the wind :) Hopefully we'll get back in September to continue where we left off! Definitely recommend!

The best place in Bol 🤙🏼🌊 It will become your second home. Great place to learn how to windsurf or enjoy other activities like stand up paddling, kayaking or just lying on the beach 🏄🏼‍♀️⛱🏖🏝 The oldest windsurfing school in Bol, they brought windsurfing to Bol. They have many years of expirience and are very professional. Big Blue Sport is offering courses and private lessons of windsurfing in many different languages - croatian, slovenian, english, german, italian...

Nice and helpful service. We visited in the off season (start of Nov) and called ahead to rent SUPs. The manager opened the place for us and was friendly and helpful. Great location and a fun experience.

Rude and unhelpful staff The equipment is fine but (unless you're part of a beginners' course), you'll have to sort that all out yourself while the (many) 'cool' staff just sit around with their sunglasses on gazing out on the water. It would be so easy, with just a tiny bit of effort, to make it a great experience but they are all too cool, especially the older guy who seems to be the owner/manager. I was going to hire a board for a half day and teach my 22-year-old daughter to windsurf but they said 'No private lessons'. When I remonstrated with them that I was her Dad and therefore it could hardly be called a 'private lesson' as if I was making money out of it, they would cut me no slack at all. It just seemed to be a way of forcing people to book their lessons. So between me and my daughter we decided not to bother. I went out once for 1 hour with a school-board (basic) in light to moderate winds to get used to windsurfing again because I hadn't done it for a decade. I got used to it immediately so I went out a few days later in stronger winds on a fun-board despite me saying that I couldn't water-start. In some ways, this bit is all my responsibility but my view is that they shouldn't have let me go out in those conditions not being able to water-start. In the end, I did about a minute's windsurfing and decided I was going so fast away from land that I'd better make sure I could turn around. I then fell in, and it took me about 30 mins to actually start sailing again back to shore. It was a frightening experience and I was trying to stop myself panicking - my legs, knees and feet were bleeding from constantly trying to clamber on the board and up-haul the sail. I then had to stumble onto the sharp stony shore where I made land (a few hundred metres downwind of the windsurfing centre), carrying the board and sail in order not to damage them in the rough waves. I cut my feet up badly and am still recovering a week later with dressings on them. Like I say, it's my responsibility to ensure I'm safe, but it's just their attitude - like constantly saying before I went that 'rescue is extra' - why? The boat's just sitting there, they are just sitting there not busy, why should I 'pay extra' to get rescued from say 200 metres out from land when it costs them just a few pence of fuel? It's just unkind and stingy. They then didn't come and help me take my board/sail back so I had to walk on the sharp stones back with my sail. Eventually one of the younger guys came and took my board but I had got my sandals on by then so I offered to get the sail of another guy who had been stranded like me. Nobody thanked me for helping them out with that. All in all, a horrible experience. I don't know why these people do this job if they dislike customers so much. I would too injured to do any more windsurfing but if I had, I'd have gone to the competition along the beach.
